  The Role:

  Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for a Airbag Test Facility Engineer to join their dynamic team.

   

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  Skills and Experience:

  Testing

  • Knowledge of test facilities and the operation
  • Knowledge of relevant test requirements and procedures

  Design, Development and Maintenance

  • Design and develop facilities required to conduct the relevant tests according to the companyâ??s specifications
  • Assist in identifying the relevant investment requirements and procurement via the companyâ??s procurement processes
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out as required

   

  Testing

  • Plan and coordinate test requirements for test facilities
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding test volumes
  • Conduct tests as per the required specifications pertaining to the airbag test procedures
  • Report results back to customers
  • Understanding and analysing all air bag deployment related specifications to ensure the organisation facilities comply
  • Understanding exactly what the requirements and expected results of testing and evaluations are
  • Assessing unexpected results from data captured, correctly
  • Keeping up to date with global trends in airbag deployment testing and related equipment
