SUMMARY:

Join a close-knit local team that has been in business for over 20 years handling airfreight exports, handling files from A-Z, including framing of the entries.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a long-standing clearing and forwarding agent with a small but personal team in Cape Town.

They are seeking a candidate who is looking for growth within a company.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within clearing and forwarding, handling files from A-Z (non-negotiable).
EasyClear experience highly preferential.
Previous IATA cargo agent experience and knows the airlines.
Own transport/resides centrally.
Ability to calculate volume.
Strong Inco-terms knowledge.
Strong geographical knowledge.
Thorough understanding freight fundamentals.
General understanding of the Customs tariff.
Strong communication skills- both email and telephone.
