POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a highly motivated Alternative Sales Specialist to join a growing insurance team based in Hazelwood, Pretoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business through outbound sales activities, engaging with prospective property owners, generating quotations, and converting opportunities into successful sales. The role focuses on specialised short-term and long-term insurance solutions for residential and commercial property owners, trusts, and sectional title properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a target-driven insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and working within a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients.
• Generate quotations and close new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop long-term client relationships.
• Provide insurance solutions for residential and commercial property owners.
• Advise clients on sectional title and specialised property insurance products.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management.
• Stay informed of industry developments and competitor activity.
• Participate in ongoing product, sales, and technology training.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• RE5 Qualification.
• FAIS Qualification.
• Minimum 2 years'' Short-Term Insurance Sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years'' Long-Term Insurance Sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years'' Call Centre Sales experience.
• Strong outbound sales and closing ability.
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
