Analyst – Transactional Advisory (N/Suburbs of Cape Town) Market Related

Energetic and Ambitious qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA/CA) to join my clients’ team in Cape Town as an Analyst. The ideal incumbent enjoys the challenges and rewards of a fast-paced transactional advisory services (TAS) environment and will support the transactional advisory services in the UK reporting under FRS102/IFRS. There will be opportunities to work on consulting and external audit engagements during off-peak seasons.

Requirements:

- Degree + good pass rate in the professional exams (CFA/ACA/CPA)

- Professional training experience should be broad based with exposure to a good range of clients both in size and sector

- Knowledge of Companies Acts, Financial Reporting Standards and M&A Best Practice

- Financial modelling – clear understanding of financial models and their context and impact

- Transaction advisory services or deal environment experience gained within a professional services firm

- Advanced proficiency in Excel

- Good understanding of an ERP system

- Knowledge/Experience/Exposure to SAP, Oracle and CaseWare will be advantageous
