SUMMARY:

Intro 

Our client is building a retail intelligence platform designed specifically for the apparel and fashion retail merchandise cycle. The team has deep retail experience and has used this to design and build a platform that understands the decisions that retail teams need to make daily and gives them access to the insights and data they need to be able to make the best buying and planning calls throughout the cycle.

They launched in 2019 and have gone live in Pepkor Speciality as well as Cape Union Mart and are busy rolling out to Under Armour, Birkenstock, Crocs and are in POC with several other local retailers.
We are about to start a new wave of R&D and product development and we are looking for an experienced Angular front-end developer who can help us with this development as well as maintenance and updates of the current application.
Our team is working fully remotely with shared work desks at W17 V&A when we need to meet in person.
We are angel funded and bootstrapping with a combination of revenue and investment and some self-funding.
The roll will evolve into a lead for our front-end development as our ability to grow the team increases. We are keen to find a way to work on a trial basis with the person so we can get a sense of how we work together and the level of their skill regarding our specific requirements.

Part time to become full time, this gives the candidate and company an opportunity to "suss" each other out all the while doing some extra work on the side before making a decision to move permanently.

Looking for around 20 hours per week initially.
