A well-established accounting firm is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Annual Financial Statements Compiler to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Compile annual financial statements from trial balances and supporting documentation
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve queries
• Work closely with auditors to address review points and provide supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation for all engagements
• Ensure all deadlines are met in line with client and regulatory requirements
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and legislation

• Relevant accounting qualification or studying towards one (e.g., BCom Accounting, SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous)
• Proficiency in accounting and drafting software (e.g., CaseWare, Draftworx)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and client service skills
