SUMMARY:
Solutionâoriented Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer with CAD mastery and BOM optimisation expertise, bridging technical design and commercial preâsales for industrial automation and switchgear.

POSITION INFO:
Role Summary:

Translates complex customer requirements into practical technical solutions. Bridges the gap between concepts and commercial reality by producing electrical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and highâvalue proposals that enable partners and endâusers to implement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret RFQs/requirements to design integrated electrical and automation solutions
Develop electrical drawings and accurate BOMs
Prepare technicalâcommercial proposals (pricing, lead times, scope)
Provide preâsales technical support to channel partners
Collaborate with Product Design and Support teams to ensure feasibility and compliance

Essential Requirements:

Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
Experience in electrical design and technical documentation/BOMs
Proficiency in CAD and advanced Excel for costing
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industrial sales cycles

Beneficial Requirements:

Experience with Channel Partners or System Integrators
Knowledge of automation and switchgear product ranges
Ability to present technical solutions to nonâtechnical stakeholders
