JOB SUMMARY:
Our client requires a an Architect IoT Presales on a 6-12 months contract to provide technical expertise of the business IoT solutions to both architect and implement transformational solutions for existing and prospective customers. Work closely with the Commercial, Products and Delivery teams throughout the sales cycle, to ensure that proposed technical solutions address customer needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Deliverables
Pre-sales Architecture
  • Work closely with Sales, Account Management and Service Delivery teams to design solutions and architectures that align with customers’ business requirements.
  • Conceptualise and design technical solutions required to address customer requirements and recommend solutions which balance business returns and value to clients.
  • Contribute to the development, review and analysis of the IoT Products and Services roadmaps to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Lead the development and delivery of customised Use-Case demonstrations and Proof of Concept initiatives.
  • Own the technical relationship with customers and provide prescriptive guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency and best-practice architectures.
  • Design IoT product-specific pre-sales architecture within approved operational limits, as per product specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations, explaining and expounding on IoT
  • Product and Services offerings, to existing as well as prospective clients.
  • Lead the overall technical design and build of the custom elements of the solution to meet client business requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in response to client requirements, by examining client infrastructure, architecture, system capabilities and business challenges.
  • Own the proposed IoT solution and transition the implementation to the Delivery team.
  • Work with IoT Products and Alliances teams to leverage partnerships for complex solutions that may be outside of client’s expertise.
  • Provide solution training to the internal commercial team, customers, partners, and resellers to transfer IoT product knowledge.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and resellers as a trusted technology advisor
Education:
  • Minimum of 3-year diploma preferably in an ICT discipline.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a business solutions pre-sales environment,
  • servicing clients.
  • Deep understanding of Telemetry, Internet of Things (IoT) or Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
  • Experience engaging with and providing Telecom solutions to senior stakeholders within large
  • enterprise client accounts.
  • Experience working in a medium sized organisation
