Deliver large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects

Represent the practice at project briefing and client meetings

Evaluate development proposals for compliance with zoning regulations

Prepare urban design guidelines (open space, building form, site planning, project review)

Develop massing plans and urban design concepts
-
Produce sketch illustrations in Revit and by hand reflecting client briefs
-
Assist with graphic design and presentation material
-
Assist with 3D visualisations of project proposals
-
Produce and coordinate council submission documentation (SDP & Building Plans)
-
Produce coordinated working drawings with other disciplines
-
Attend site meetings and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays
-
Conduct independent site inspections and monitor construction
-
Manage full project involvement from initiation to finalisation
-
Guide and motivate project team members
-
Travel internationally when required
-
Master’s Degree in Architecture or Urban Design (M.Arch / MUD)
-
Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience
-
Registered with SACAP
-
Advanced proficiency in Revit (certification advantageous)

Completion of B+P Revit Assessment (minimum 70%)

Ability to sketch in Revit and by hand

Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Master Suite

Intermediate knowledge of 3D visualisation software

Advanced knowledge of council documentation and submission processes

Strong technical detailing and construction documentation experience

Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management

Strong record-keeping and documentation practices

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
