Architectural Draughtsman | Hermanus | 3-Month Contract An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Architectural Draughtsmen, Architectural Technicians and Architects to contribute to an architectural project on an urgent 3-month contract. If you are technically strong, highly accurate and ready to contribute from day one, this project offers the opportunity to work on a fast-paced professional environment with an overseas project team. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing, amending and maintaining detailed architectural and technical drawings using CAD. You will interpret architectural concepts, sketches and design information, ensuring that all drawings meet project requirements and are delivered accurately and within demanding deadlines. This opportunity is suited to professionals with 5–10 years of relevant experience who are comfortable working independently while collaborating with architects, designers and other project stakeholders. Experience on international projects will be advantageous, but strong technical capability, CAD proficiency and the ability to deliver under pressure are the key priorities. The client is an established architectural practice working across professional architectural projects, with a strong focus on technical quality and project delivery. The successful candidates will join a collaborative team supporting the delivery of an international project where accuracy, consistency and reliability are critical. What You'll Do Produce detailed architectural and technical drawings using CAD. Develop, amend and update drawings in accordance with project requirements. Interpret architectural concepts, sketches and design information. Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed and produced to the required standards. Assist with drawing revisions and technical documentation. Work on architectural drawings associated with an international project. Maintain consistency and accuracy across project documentation. Collaborate with architects, designers and other project stakeholders. Manage assigned drawing deliverables against agreed deadlines. Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the wider project team. What You Bring 5–10 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting, architectural technology or architecture. Strong CAD skills are essential. A relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Draughting or a related field. Proven experience producing professional architectural or technical drawings. Strong ability to interpret architectural designs and technical information. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage tight project deadlines. Strong organisation and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Adaptability across different project requirements. International project experience will be advantageous.
