Area Manager, Richards Bay KwaZulu-Natal
POSITION INFO:
We are inviting applications from suitable candidates for the role of Area Manager at a well known KwaZulu-Natal branch. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving business growth, providing technical oversight, and ensuring exceptional customer service across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
- Conduct sales presentations and pitches.
- Provide up-to-date pricing to prospective clients.
- Close sales and achieve set targets.
- Ensure completion and signing of Credit Applications / Customer Detail Forms.
- Compile presentations as required.
Sales & Customer Liaison- Conduct regular visits to existing customers.
- Assess and anticipate customer needs.
- Recommend solutions and take orders or liaise with Telesales.
- Perform demonstrations when required.
- Keep clients informed about new products, specials, and pricing.
- Ensure service reports are completed and signed by customers.
Services & Technical Oversight- Conduct routine service calls and attend to callouts.
- Service and maintain equipment; arrange repairs as needed.
Installations- Receive and manage installation requests.
- Requisition and collect equipment from the Admin Department / Equipment Store.
- Install equipment at customer sites.
- Ensure signed Proof of Delivery and Equipment Loan Agreements are returned.
Product Knowledge- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products.
- Ensure team members are well-trained.
Planning, Administration & Reporting- Conduct strategic planning and manage administrative tasks.
- Prepare accurate reports for management.
Ad Hoc Duties- Perform other duties as required to support branch operations.
Minimum Requirements:- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
- Strong sales and customer service background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant technical knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
