Area Manager - Cold Products

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Middelburg, Mpumalanga Region has an EE opportunity available for an Area Manager - Cold Products.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Minimum requirements: B.Eng or BTech in Metallurgy/Chemical /Mechanical Engineering or relevant field of  study.
• MDP or post graduate management qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good computer skills (MSOffice) and knowledge of all relevant plant systems (PeopleSoft, Supervisory system and Aspen)
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience after Engineer in Training programme
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in people leadership and management role.
• Experience in: Managing budgets; Contract Management; ISO standards; Setting and managing key performance indicators; IR/HR matters
• Excellent negotiation and report writing skills with ability to manage relations with internal and external suppliers
• Plant Operational management experience

• Planning and control of the operations process
• Inventory and purchasing planning and control
• Failure prevention and recovery
• Manage availability and efficiency of each process
• Optimise plant capacity, inventory and product flow
• Improve response and flexibility
• Responsible for operational design (Job design and work organisation)
