SUMMARY:

An established environmental sciences and pest control company is seeking the above to maximize the value of the business and implement commercial strategy in line with relevant KPI’s in cooperation with Crop Protection channel partners, as well as driving digital Farming offering.



POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Must have a degree in Agriculture and/or Business Administration
  • Solid agricultural knowledge and understanding of local market environment are essential
  • Proven leadership and sales experience are required
  • The ability to develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial farmers are important
  • Excellent computer, communication and presentation skills are essential

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing the area strategy from a sales and customer point of view with the territory Sales Manager and other relevant functions.
  • Defining and implementing a differentiating area sales strategy fully consistent with country / marketing / customer strategy.
  • Optimising the use of commercial policies (Market funding) and channel partner/ agent programs.
  • Building relationships and shaping channel partners, exceeding the relevant benchmarks in customer satisfaction.
  • Developing the capabilities of channel partners according to requirements of future Go to Market strategy, benchmarks and customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Implementing an ambitious and consistent sales plan in line with country objectives as well as legal and compliance rules and obligations.
  • Ensuring delivery of forecasted results according to sales plan, utilising superior operative sales planning, forecasting, and monitoring (incl. price and product flow) mechanisms and KPIs.
  • Monitoring, sharing and responding to marketing opportunities, issues, market changes and competitor moves, and adjusting tactics as required.
  • Ensuring the implementation of corporate guidelines and compliance policies.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
