SUMMARY:
A leading international Company specialising within the distribution of Crop Protection Agrochemicals requires the above to manage the Marketing and Sales strategies of Distributors / Agents in line with their assigned International Product Portfolio.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A Degree or Diploma in Business Management or Agriculture or related qualification is preferred.
Previous experience having managed Senior Key Accounts and Distributors within the Agrochemical Industry is essential.
Previous experience having worked within a Marketing and or Technical Sales or related role within the Agricultural Chemical Industry is essential.
The Company will consider someone who has worked as an Agent or Distributor for the above role.
Previous experience having managed people is preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate should have a strong network within the Crop Protection and Agricultural Pesticide market.
Strong Crop Protection chemical or related product knowledge is preferred but not essential.
Must be able to work independently, be organised and driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Oversee and Manage Customers, Distributors and Agents within the Cape and surrounding areas.
Develop new business as well as visiting customers with Distributors to promote new and existing products, and offer technical input on various products to achieve sales targets.
Determine and manage market strategies as well as identify market opportunities within the Agrochemical market.
Develop monthly and annual sales forecasts and budgets.
Manage and execute the Company’s PR strategy in line with the Company’s business objectives.
Manage and oversee the planning and marketing of industry events.
