SUMMARY:
A global leader specialising in the Development and Manufacturing of Superior Agricultural products is seeking the above to be responsible for managing, appointing and providing Technical Support to Agents and Distributors within the area driving the sales of various crop protection, fertilizer and other speciality agricultural products into the market.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Agricultural or related qualification i.e., AVCASA and BASOS or related certificate is preferred. 
  • Previous experience having managed and worked closely with Distributors within the Agricultural Market is essential. 
  • Previous experience having sold and marketed a range of crop protection and plant nutritional products into the Agricultural Industry is essential. 
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently taking ownership of the Distributors they are managing within the area. 
  • The Company would also consider candidates who have worked as an Agent within the Agricultural Industry and someone who has worked for a global company specialising within the crop protection and plant nutrition markets. 
  • Must be computer literate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement strategies for Business growth within the area.
  • Design and develop innovative products with the Product Development Team.
  • Provide technical advice on specialised products to Agents, Distributors and Farmers on various products required for different crops.
  • Manage and work alongside Distributors to develop solutions for crops at Farmers and related Agricultural Customers.
  • Manage logistics and supply chain arrangements for depots and from ports.
  • Manage and drive stock planning and forecasts for production and distribution within the various areas.
  • Manage, build relationships and arrange field days with Agents and Distributors.
  • Compile presentations for farmer information days, exhibitions and Distributor in-house training about various products on offer. 
  • Conduct farm visits with the Agents.
  • Compile budgets, sales forecast for the year ahead and plan sale strategies to accomplish these goals.
  • Find creative ways to grow the Company’s market share and reach sales targets.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
