POSITION INFO:

Purpose
Manage technical support to customers and branches in repairing services.

Minimum Qualifications
Certificate: Diesel Mechanic OR Certificate: Electrician OR Certificate: Millwright; Bachelor of Business Management
Minimum Experience
Earthmoving equipment or mining industry Operational 7 years; Managerial 3 years

Roles and Responsibilities include inter alia:
Strategy Development and Implementation
Develop and implement departmental plan and objectives and align with business objectives.
Promote and increase the participation in aftermarket.

Service Management
Control and manage aftermarket activities.
Provide support to internal and external customers.
Develop and manage service level agreements and contracts with service providers.
Monitor standing time of equipment.
Compile and submit work-in-progress exception report.
Monitor disputes and queries in terms of debtors.
Manage the fleet of Service Vehicles.
Compile and submit Vehicle Cost reports.
Manage the preparation of new equipment and selling of services, parts, out-work and assets.
Manage the administration of pre-delivery inspection documentation and warranty registration.
Ensure orders are accurately processed as per Sales Service Credit Schedule.
Manage warranty claims.

Procurement
Ensure the transporting of equipment going out and coming into the workshop according to customer requirements.
Keep customers informed of progress all the time.
Ensure the procurement process is in line with objectives and BBBEE strategy.
Manage and approve the costing quotation process.

Microsoft Office
