Our client a leader in the global oil and gas sector is looking to employ a highly qualified and experienced Arts and Culture Specialist in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

POSITION INFO:
Position Description
We are seeking an Arts and Culture Specialist to join the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).

Ithra is located in an iconic landmark building, and is designed to be a beacon for knowledge to illuminate, inspire and catalyze the potential of the Kingdom’s vast talent pool. Ithra is an all-purpose cultural destination, an environment for transformative experiences to unlock the power of potential through mastery in arts, science, literature, and innovation. Facilities include an idea lab, library, theater, museum, energy exhibit, art gallery, children’s museum, and a knowledge tower housed under one roof, to provide visitors with an immersive
and transformative experience.

Your primary role will be to conduct industry research to directly impact Ithra’s projection, as well as advise management on business related subjects.

Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or International Communication.

You will have at least 15 years of experience in cultural and support services organizations, or operation management institutes, and vast experience in strategy & KPI development and consultation services.

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be required to perform the following:
Ensure the integration and institutionalization of the Center’s art and design activities, which include co-developing the Center’s art installations and competitions.

Provide strategic advice on the Center’s art and design programs and exhibitions.

Monitor the progress of arts and culture in the Kingdom, and assess the implications on the Center’s art and design position.

Provide artistic advisory and consultation services for the Center management and team.

Provide other special projects and activities at the discretion of the Director.
