Assest Analyst, with Financial Modelling specialisation

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am looking for an experienced Asset Analyst, with Financial Modelling specialisation, to act as a specialist support to the Finance and Asset Management team with a focus on financial modelling, forecasting and planning. The successful candidate will also be involved in the daily management of all commercial, contractual, regulatory and reporting obligations of a portfolio, for my client, in both the construction and operational phases

Responsibilities:

Budgeting, performance analysis and control processes, together with projects to transform planning
Working within Corporate FP&A at a fast-paced/high growth company
Experience with sophisticated financial modelling and working with large data sets
Project finance or financials services experience in the project management space
Should be available and accustomed to travel both domestically and internationally to 3rd world countries
Strong problem-solving, strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and recommend actions

Requirements:

Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, CFA,
Financial modelling certification such as FMVA®
3-5 years working experience in the following environments:
Project finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modelling, Transaction Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Utility-scale energy
