Asset Auditor

SUMMARY:
A Leading organization within the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Fixed Asset Auditor to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements: 

• The applicant must hold a Degree in Finance
• At least two years’ experience in auditing Fixed Assets
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Good intuition

Duties: 

• Physically verify 100% fixed assets on register
• Identify assets not on fixed asset register and update accordingly
• Tag all assets
• Identify assets that may need to be valued by an expert
• Work on residual values with expert
• Ensure that depreciable lives are correct
• Compile tax asset register
• Capable of recommending working solutions to issues as they arise
• Good report writing skills
