Asset Management Auditor

SUMMARY:
ASSET MANAGEMENT AUDITOR OVERVIEW
An Asset Management Auditor will focus on evaluating the effectiveness of an organization's asset management processes, including financial controls, risk management, and compliance (Construction space). Conduct audits, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to ensure assets are properly managed and protected. 
 
Core Responsibilities:
Auditing and Evaluation: Conducting audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of asset management controls, processes, and systems. 

• Risk Assessment: Identifying and evaluating emerging risks and control issues within asset management. 
• Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in asset management. 
• Reporting: Documenting audit findings, preparing reports, and communicating audit results to management and stakeholders. 
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to asset management. 
• Recommendation Development: Developing recommendations for improving asset management practices and control effectiveness. 

• Audit Planning: Developing audit plans and work programs, including scope, objectives, and testing approaches. 
• Fieldwork: Conducting audit fieldwork, including documenting processes, reviewing documentation, and testing controls. 
• Work Paper Documentation: Preparing and documenting audit workpapers, reports, and findings. 
• Follow-up and Verification: Monitoring the implementation of corrective actions and verifying the resolution of audit issues. 
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicating audit findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders.

• Experience: Relevant experience in audit, compliance, or finance, ideally with a focus on asset management. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, accounting, and financial reporting.
