Asset Manager

SUMMARY:

Our client, a Property Development company is recruiting an Asset Manager in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Finance or Property Management (Preferable).
• 5 years’ experience in the property industry.
• Retail Asset Management experience (Advantageous).
• MDA proficiency.
• MS Excel proficiency.

Main responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the leasing process.
• Ensure that renewals are completed within determined timeframes.
• Ensure a proper tenant mix in line with business strategy and market demand.
• Management of tenant installations for new tenants to open on time.
• Ensure accurate and on-time tenant billings.
• Follow up on the collection of monies owed from tenants and implementation of contractual terms
• Energy management and municipal accounts.
• Oversee and manage the property maintenance.
• To prepare, review annual budgets and forecasts with input from the Finance team
• Ultimate drive the growth in Net Operating Income (NOI) for retail assets.
• Monitor and report tenant sales performance, competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to management. Growing the value of the retail portfolio of property assets within the business
• Increasing the ROI within the existing retail portfolio.
