JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:

Short-term leasing (STL) management
Review, query and manage municipality bills for properties
Apply for refunds from COCT when property / building transferred
Go to the council on rate queries when required
Review and load Levy statements for stock
Load invoices for payment
Accurate recording of R&Ms
Source contractors, follow up with tenants & contractors once work completed, ensure invoices are paid
Handle and resolve all day to day tenant issues and complaints
Manage insurance for rental stock
Ensure that targets are met on rental for both long term and short term
Asset Management monthly and weekly reporting to Leadership and Shareholders
Check monthly TB’s and Income Statements for JHB properties and raise questions
Ensure cleaning is done twice a month for student accommodation
Sit as a Trustee on multiple properties as the Developer representative
Attend AGM meetings when necessary
Ensure online portals are always updated
Vet applications and ensure required documents are obtained
Facilitate all inspections
Generate and send invoices as required
Ad hoc duties

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years’ experience in similar role
Property related degree (beneficial)
MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams)
Can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Good communication skills
