We're looking for a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a national portfolio of solar PV assets, ensuring optimal performance, operational excellence, and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for a technically strong solar professional who thrives in a data-driven environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is passionate about maximising the performance and value of renewable energy assets. What You'll Do Monitor and optimise the performance of a national portfolio of solar PV sites Identify, troubleshoot, and coordinate the resolution of technical faults and performance issues Manage preventative maintenance programmes and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements Produce performance reports and provide clients with meaningful insights and recommendations Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and technical expertise Support and mentor junior Asset Managers while driving continuous improvement across the asset management function What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field 5+ years' experience in solar asset management or solar O&M, preferably within a commercial or industrial environment Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, monitoring platforms, and performance analysis Experience managing SLAs, performance guarantees, and fault resolution processes Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of South African electrical standards and solar industry best practices What Will Make You Successful A strong technical and analytical mindset The ability to translate complex technical information into practical client solutions A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills A commitment to operational excellence, accountability, and service delivery Why Join Matriarch?
