SUMMARY:
We have a position available for a mature Accountant in the East of JHB. This is an office based position.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12
Accounting/Finance Diploma/Degree
Experience with Xero, Sage or Pastel
Proficient in MS Excel
Valid drivers license
High attention to detail
At least 4 years experience in a financial role

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations for 9 companies
Record and process supplier invoices, expense claims, and journals
Maintain the general ledger and related schedules
Prepare monthly management reports
Assist with fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Respond to internal departments' inquiries about finance
Renew motor vehicle licenses
Purchase office stationary and groceries as needed
