SUMMARY:
Join a dynamic group, committed to excellence and compliance. My client is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to ensure statutory company secretarial services align with legal requirements. This role offers a chance to contribute to governance across our group and subsidiaries.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Support the Group Company Secretary in statutory functions and compliance.
Assist in board awareness and regulatory compliance.
Manage logistical arrangements for board activities.
Maintain share registers for Group companies and subsidiaries.
Ensure compliance with CIPC requirements and BO reporting.
Provide administrative support to Group Trusts.
Prepare agendas, record minutes, and distribute documentation.
Promote corporate compliance and good governance.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Governance.
3+ years' experience in corporate secretariat environment.
Proficiency in CIPC requirements and Beneficial Ownership reporting.
Experience in maintaining share registers.
Advantageous: Institute of Chartered Secretaries certification, legal admission.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve results.
