Financial Planning & Budgeting: Drive multi-entity budgeting, rolling forecast frameworks, and strategic financial planning to support executive decision-making. Annual Financial Statements & Audits: Prepare and review full-suite Annual Financial Statements (AFS), ensuring compliance with the Companies Act while leading internal and external audit pipelines. Team Leadership & Group Projects: Mentor, direct, and develop junior controllers and accounting staff, fostering a culture of high performance and driving key group finance transformation initiatives. Job Experience and Skills Required: Professional Qualification (Non-Negotiable): Active qualification as a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) is an absolute prerequisite. Commercial Track Record: A minimum of 2+ years of reference-backed commercial finance experience post-articles. Systems Mastery: Practical operational command of accounting and reporting platforms (specifically Accpac \/ Sage 300 or CaseWare ) paired with advanced Microsoft Excel financial modeling skills.
