Assistant Financial Controller

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Financial Controller to join a dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial principles and a passion for delivering accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance-related role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• A Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Experience with Xero software is a strong advantage
• Sound knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and budget tracking
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must be a South African citizen

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Perform reconciliations and assist with audits
• Support the Financial Controller with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
