Assistant Financial Controller {5 year contract}

POSITION INFO:

ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

The purpose of this position, not limited to: 

Monitor and advise the Financial Controller in respect of costs incurred on behalf of the RSA. To ensure that the approved cost allocation percentages are applied in the Cost Allocation Report and the Cost -to Funding Report. Also contribute towards Long Term Cost Plan (LTC). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cost monitoring and Control
2. Cost allocation of Costs
3. Bi-national Relations
4. Administration Co-ordination

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• CA (SA)
• 8 years’ experience at just below senior management with multi-disciplinary exposure working against targets.
• Valid drivers license

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Cost control experience
• Project management
• Budget and variance analysis experience
• Up to date in respect of accounting standards
• Communication
• Project co-ordination
• Corporate income tax experience
