Assistant Financial Controller We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join our clients finance team. Duties: As Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function by: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Processing, reviewing and reconciling financial transactions Preparing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and statutory requirements Assisting with internal and external audits Coordinating financial information across multiple departments Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation Identifying and resolving financial discrepancies promptly Supporting the finance team with daily operations and ad hoc projects What we are looking for To succeed in this role, you''''''''''''''''ll have: BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field Completed SAICA\/SAIPA articles 2 years experience in a Financial Accountant, Assistant Financial Controller or similar accounting role Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and numerical ability Excellent organisational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Fluency in Afrikaans and English (essential) The ideal candidate You are someone who: Takes ownership of your work Has a strong sense of integrity and professionalism Enjoys solving problems and improving processes Can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Is confident working in a fast-paced business environment Handles confidential financial information with discretion Ready to take the next step?
