POSITION INFO:

Passionate about financial management and analytical, with an eye for detail

Technically up to date with IFRS and sound working knowledge of taxations

Skilled communicator – both verbal and written at all levels

Able to work proficiently in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with accounting systems and processes

Experienced in benchmarking, formulation of accounting policies, able to provide technical input and assistance (emerging issues re IFRS, Tax, and Companies Act

Review monthly VAT returns and related recons

Review of head office supplier payments

Skilled at performing financial reviews and analysis

Skilled at preparing and analysing forecasts and budgets

Skilled at providing support and maintain service levels to all internal stakeholders

Skilled at preparing and reviewing of annual financial statements

Able to liaise with external and internal audit regarding all aspects of the audit process

Able to contribute at exceptional levels as a member of the head office finance team and be a key role player within the team

Ability to carry out various ad hoc duties as required from time to time

Accpac, Insight and Case ware experience advantageous

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight reporting deadlines.

Essential pre- requisites

CA (SA) qualification

Minimum two years managerial experience in accounting
