This stylish and artistic boutique hotel in Tamboerskloof is seeking a service-driven Junior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support evening operations across the hotel. Working closely with the management team, you’ll act as Duty Manager during late shifts and ensure smooth F&B service delivery across outlets, events, and guest touchpoints.

Reporting to the senior F&B and General Management team, your responsibilities will span hands-on guest service, team supervision, closing duties, and maintaining high service standards during evening operations. You’ll also assist in hotel-wide matters while holding responsibility as the Duty Manager on shift.

POSITION INFO:

ð¹ Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or hotel operations
ð¹ Flexible to work late shifts, weekends, and public holidays
ð¹ Hands-on operational and guest service focus
ð¹ Strong leadership potential with a positive, team-oriented attitude
ð¹ Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
ð¹ Working knowledge of POS systems, stock control & basic admin
ð¹ South African citizenship (non-negotiable)
ð¹ Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license

ð¸ Act as Hotel Duty Manager during evening operations
ð¸ Supervise and support F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, and events
ð¸ Ensure closing procedures, guest satisfaction, and operational handovers
ð¸ Assist in shift planning, staff management, and service standards
ð¸ Handle guest requests, issues, and emergencies professionally
ð¸ Support general hotel operations as needed in absence of senior management
ð¸ Maintain high hygiene, safety, and service protocols
