SUMMARY:
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, room service, events, and staff dining
Support the supervision, training, scheduling, and performance management of food and beverage staff
Ensure consistent delivery of high service standards and guest satisfaction
Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving, and inventory management
Monitor costs, wastage, and budgets to support financial targets
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
Assist with menu implementation, service standards, and special events
Step in as acting Food & Beverage Manager in their absence
Maintain strong communication between kitchen, service teams, and management
