Assistant Fund Manager (Apex)

SUMMARY:
Ready to step into a leadership-support role in the investment and fund management space? A well-established multinational financial services provider is seeking an Assistant Fund Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of investment funds. In this role, you’ll assist with overseeing fund administration processes, reviewing financial reports, liaising with clients and Auditors, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of fund valuations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Fund Accountant or Supervisor ready to move into a management-track role.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related qualification (Honours/CIMA/ACCA/SAICA articles advantageous)
• 4+ years’ experience in fund accounting or a related financial services space
• Strong knowledge of NAV calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting
• Familiarity with private equity, hedge funds, and real estate fund structures preferred
• Experience reviewing or preparing audited annual financial statements
• Proficient in fund administration systems (e.g., Investran, Paxus, and eFront)
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
