Assistant Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY:
A 5-star game lodge is looking for a hands-on and reliable Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Head in overseeing the property’s technical operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong general maintenance skills and experience working in a remote hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining all lodge infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out
• Supervise maintenance staff and contractors when required
• Support in managing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Ensure all work is carried out according to health and safety standards

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• 3+ years’ maintenance experience in a lodge, hotel, or similar environment
• Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and basic construction systems
• Hands-on, solution-driven, and physically fit
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to live and work in a remote area
