Assistant Manager (Langeberg Mall)

SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will be based at Langeberg Mall. It is a retail position which will involve working on weekends and holidays.

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• 5-7 years retail management experience
• Extensive retail experience
• Matric certificate
• Must have managed 8 - 10 employees
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office programs, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Good level of skill on retail ERP programs
• Must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English

• Assist in daily duties of the manager
• Making sure store is ready in the morning for trade, ie all temps of equipment are correct, check fridges, making sure everyone is at work.
• Assist with admin ie, cash ups, check lists, invoices and stock takes
• Keep up with staff training and staff discipline.
• Eye for detail in terms of cleanliness and customer service is very important
• Make sure customers are happy and being served in required time frames.
• We are looking for someone to assist in the growth of the business and grow with the business.
• Training will be provided.
