Assistant Manager: Treasury

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum finance related NQF 6 qualification with minimum 5 year’s related experience in a similar size company
• Sound knowledge of Bank Regulations and banking relationship management experience
• ERP system experience, SAP would be preferred
• At least 3 years experience in a management position. (Several Direct reports)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage sub-ordinates and all administrative functions relating to Banking and Treasury department
• Manage and address escalated queries from Internal and External Customer
• Manage and ensure compliance with the Service Level Agreements
• Ensure controls and processes for Service Level Agreements are in place and adhered to
• Proactively manage the Cash Forecast ensuring it adequately reflects each companies’ requirements and timing thereof for funding
• Manage and control cash forecast ensuring approval from relevant parties is received and actioned timeously
• Manage and control (where required)
• Cash transfers, payments and guarantees processed by subordinates for authorizing parties/signatories to sign off
• Bank account administration-Maintain control over the opening and closing of bank accounts.
• Ensure that SAP is appropriately updated.
• Manage and control all collection account functions that are performed by subordinates and adhere to policies and procedures
