Assistant Merchandiser

📍 Location: Kew, Johannesburg
💰 Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 (based on experience & qualifications)

An exciting opportunity is available at a growing Johannesburg-based company that has recently launched its own apparel range!

✅ Key Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Fashion or Clothing Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw (or similar design software)
Strong knowledge of patterns, grading, fabrics, garment construction & branding
Experience in product development, negotiation & apparel sourcing

🎯 Responsibilities:

Research & source products
Assist with range selection & idea development
Prepare spec sheets & CAD specifications
Liaise with suppliers, request quotes & follow up
Support with admin, pricelists & costing sheets
Maintain supplier communications
Review products & conduct quality checks
