Assistant Store Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, an upmarket, fast-paced growing Brand of clothing is looking for an Assistant Manager.

The Store Manager will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the store. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the brand image, the manager will play a crucial role in achieving business objectives and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
o Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
o Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback and training to support team development and performance improvement.
o Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members feel valued, empowered, and motivated to excel.
o Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining profitability.
o Resolve escalated customer issues or complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive resolution and preserving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
o Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
o Oversee the visual presentation of the store, ensuring that merchandise displays are aesthetically pleasing, on-brand, and effectively showcase the products.
o Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to store operations, including opening and closing procedures, security protocols, and health and safety guidelines.
o Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives aligned with business objectives and market trends.
Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Retail Store Management Experience.
• Grade 12
• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a high-end or luxury fashion environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
