POSITION INFO:
This role involves:
Assisting with compliance across all tax types (including checking Income Tax Assessments, drafting objections to SARS, and managing Provisional tax returns)
Compiling and reconciling monthly input and output VAT reports ensuring meticulous accuracy before submission
Accurately and timeously complete and submit VAT returns, related payments, and ensure monthly accounting entries are flawless
Handling all enquiries from the South African Revenue Service (SARS) efficiently
Engaging with internal teams to facilitate effective VAT risk management and overall tax efficiency
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years tax experience
Experienced working in complex structures
Problemâsolving skills
Ability to work with recurring tax deadlines
Team collaboration skills
Strong numerical accuracy
Qualification:
BCom Accounting
SAIPA Articles + SAIT (advantageous)
