Motsoeneng Bill Attorneys Incorporated is a leading boutique law firm located in Sandton, Johannesburg. The firm is made up of a team of dedicated and dynamic individuals who are passionate about the law and about serving our community.
Our legal professionals are exposed to a variety of practice areas and service a wide array of corporate clients. We also have a hybrid working model where the successful candidate can work remotely and at the office.

What we are looking for:

Ambitious, talented, and hard-working Associate Partner / Partner who will help contribute to the success of the Labour department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Labour law, a demonstrable interest in writing articles and driving general thought leadership within the area of law. The successful candidate will lead a team comprising of one associate and one candidate legal practitioner and will be assisted by a secretary.

POSITION INFO:

Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes):

Admitted attorney with a minimum of 8 years post admission experience;
Excellent Communication (written and verbal) skills;
Must be able to work autonomously and/or be able to work in a team;
Must have strong litigious experience (appearing in employment tribunals: disciplinary hearings, CCMA, Labour Court, etc.);
Persuasive Writing Skills (drafting of inter alia, opinions, correspondence, etc.);
Must be able to draft own pleadings
Must be able to work with and without counsel
Excellent Research Skills;
Time Management Skills;
Emotional Intelligence;
Interpersonal Skills;
Leadership Skills;
Presentation Skills;
Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills; and
Project Management Skills
