SUMMARY:
Au Pair (Part-time)
Our client, located in Pretoria East, is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy individual to provide attentive childcare in the afternoons and to be available for additional au pair duties if required.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
Proven experience working with children (infants and toddlers).
Available to work Monday to Friday, 12:30 – 16:15, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety of children during afternoon care.
Monitor and respond to children’s emotional and physical needs.
Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring mealtimes are organised and hygienic.
Promote and maintain proper hygiene, including changing nappies as required.
Create and follow daily routines that support physical activity, rest, and play.
Observe and report on developmental milestones or concerns relating to social, physical, or cognitive behaviour.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child's routine, wellbeing, and progress.
Maintain clean and organised areas for eating, resting, and activities.
Submit monthly developmental programmes and progress reports.
