SUMMARY:
A well-established audit firm in Tygervalley has a vacancy for an AUDIT MANAGER. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience as an Audit Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Qualified CA (SA) and registered with SAICA – please include your SAICA number in your CV for verification
Experience and good knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, VAT, Income Tax and Companies Act;
Previous experience as an Audit Manager

Responsibilities:

the management of client portfolio consisting of a wide variety of small to medium sized clients, including individuals, trusts, closed corporations, private companies and non-profit organisations.
the management of audits and related services
the delivery of a support function to the director of the firm
compliance to statutory obligations, as well as dealing with the resulting enquiries
delivery of quality work through the maintenance of audit and accounting standards
management and development of audit personnel through the necessary supervision over planning of audits, monitoring and evaluation of the team’s progress and providing the necessary training.
