Audit Manager – George – Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager in George.

Required Skills:

BCompt Degree
Completed SAICA articles.
CaseWare knowledge and experience

Candidate Requirements:

A basic knowledge of accounting software (preferably Pastel Partner/Sage).
Computer literate - MS Excel and MS Word literacy required at advanced level.
Excellent communication skills - written and spoken essential (English).
Self-motivated.
Approve timesheets.
Must be able to work as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and management skills (experience managing teams)
Analytical and solution driven.
Must demonstrate personal and time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.
High Technical ability (IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing, Tax).
Reviewing trainees PSR/TSR’s
Compliance with firm’s audit methodology.
Auditing, independent review and compilation of financials statements according to IFRS for SMEs.
Strong administration skills
Must be able to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner
Provide technical assistance and training to staff members (where required).
Capable of working independently
Able to work under pressure
Drafting reports to management
Responsible to ensure audit quality and risk management in the review process.
Assisting with compliance reports
Attention to detail
Able to take initiative
Review audit fieldwork on an on-going basis.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent planning and organizing skills
Overtime will be required from time to time to meet client deadlines.
