Audit Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our Client based in Durban in the Financial Industry is looking for a Audit Supervisor to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting or any equivalent qualification
• Completed SAICA articles with 2 years experience (preferred)
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• CA(SA) qualification is not required

• Plan and execute audit engagements within established budgets and timelines
• Design appropriate audit procedures and approaches
• Perform audit fieldwork and initial review of working papers
• Prepare client reports, including annual financial statements and management letters
• Finalize audit engagements and propose audit opinions
• Liaise with partners, staff, and clients on all aspects of the audit
• Allocate work to audit trainees and review their completed tasks
• Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to trainee accountants
• Ensure compliance with the latest statutory knowledge and undergo required training
• Maintain effective client relationships
