Have you successfully completed your SAICA articles and would like to gain exposure in a leading audit firm? If yes, then this role is perfect for you! My client who is a leading and fast-growing audit firm is looking for a Supervisor to join their Service Charge division.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Supervisor – Service Charge Specialist will be responsible for reviewing annual financial statements, ensuring planned procedures have been completed as well as ensuring all working papers are complete and consistent. The Supervisor – Service Charge Specialist will be responsible for the planning and execution of audits as well as supervising the work of audit juniors and intermediates. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing working papers, communicating technical problems to the engagement manager and identifying additional billing opportunities.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
Completed SAICA articles is non-negotiable

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Availability to work long hours if required due to month end deadlines
Coaching of staff and providing continuous feedback for any errors made
