POSITION INFO:
As an Auto Electrician for buses, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain the electrical systems of buses, including wiring, lighting, ignition, and electronic control units, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and diagnose electrical faults on buses and their chassis.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and systems.
Maintenance and Installation:
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems.
- Install new electrical components and systems.
- Ensure all electrical components are assembled efficiently and properly.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when working on vehicles.
- Ensure all repairs and installations meet safety standards.
Documentation and Communication:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with mechanics and other staff members.
Supervisory Duties (if applicable):
- Supervise staff to ensure the smooth flow of work.
- Communicate designated staff responsibilities.
- Create auto electrical files for independent reviews.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Education and Experience:
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship.
- Experience working on buses or heavy vehicles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Will be required to travel from time to time.
