A leading engineering and infrastructure group delivering turnkey solutions across the energy sector is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems on a fleet of vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.   Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant. Install, service, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and electronic control systems. Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise equipment downtime. Test and replace electrical components, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and wiring harnesses. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Complete job cards, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures. Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure equipment remains operational. Minimum Requirements Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognised trade certificate. 3–5 years' experience working on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
