Auto electrician required at a company that does the design, manufacturing and customer adjustments / retrofitting of Military vehicles. Mainly design of new vehicles and manufacturing of protype of vehicle and testing of new vehicles.
The main duty of the Auto Electrician that we require will be to take responsibility of all maintenance and new installations of all electrical and electronic devices/ instrumentation of highly complex systems.
Company does designs in SA and vehicles are manufactured overseas.
Qualification:
Trade test as Auto Electrician or Aircraft technician
Responsibilities:
Use diagnostic software
Fault-Finding, maintenance & Repairs on military passenger carriers vehicles
Rebuild & re-wire harnesses
Rebuild starters, alternators and air-con compressors
Responsible for overseeing all Electrical maintenance as an Auto electrician, building military / armored vehicles.
Might be tasked to assist in the interaction of the electrical aspects/ harnesses for suspensions
