Our client situated in Cape Town and specialising in precision Engineering is looking for a qualified AA Sliding head auto Setter

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

•  Qualified Artisan/AA Sliding Head Auto Setter
• Previous experience in a high-volume precision mechanical engineering environment is essential.
• Good Technical knowledge of drawings, equipment and machinery

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

   

  • Machines are set and maintained for producing components to the planning productivity and quality standards;
  • Operators are fully instructed in the operation of the respective machine process prior to full operation of the machine under minimum supervision;
  • Setting scrap is kept to a minimum and segregated from acceptable production;
  • All production remains identified during all manufacturing stages;
  • Corrective action is immediately taken when adverse trends are noted or brought to his attention;
  • Maintain good housekeeping.
