SUMMARY:
Do you have production planning experience in manufacturing dealing with metal work, signage or shopping fitments?
Our Client has an excellent opportunity based in Germiston for a meticulous planner who has high attention to detail skills.
POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
Autocad or Corel Draw experience
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work very accurately
Typical previous experience may include signage / shopfitting / sheet metal work
Knowledge of materials – metals, wood, vinyl, Perspex
Knowledge of manufacturing - metal cutting PLUS bending, fabrication, painting, assembly, installation
DUTIES
Planning of all production requirements
Responsible for generating works orders to send to factory for production (part electronic, part manual)
Liaise with project managers, production manager and director
Produce workshop / technical drawings for production
Specify materials
Calculate and list material quantities for production
General administration duties
Assist in all areas where and when required working as a team
Salary: R16k cost to company dependent on experience
